Six pilots from domestic Japanese carrier Skynet Asia Airways (Solaseed Air) recently completed their circuit training with the Air New Zealand Aviation Institute.

After 30 hours of circuit (base) training completed out of Christchurch International Airport, the six pilots were checked by staff from the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB). All pilots successfully completed their final checks and will now return home to commence operations with Skynet Asia Airways, newly branded Solaseed Air.

An incredible amount of coordination was required between both airlines and the JCAB to ensure the training remained on schedule and was performed expertly and safely. Aviation Institute customer, Skynet was extremely pleased with the training provided and results achieved, and intends to send additional crews for training in the near future.

The Air New Zealand Aviation Institute reguarly provides circuit training services to international airlines, alongside its comprehensive suite of simulator, maintenance, service, ground operations and business leadership training.
