enrolment process
The following steps outline our enrolment process.
- Confirm you will meet the pre-requisite requirements for this course (excluding the Air New Zealand Placement Test, this will be arranged later)
- Complete this online enrolment form.
- You will be contacted by the Aviation Institute, and requested to provide supporting documentation (passport copy, recent IELTS or equivalent certificate, and academic/high school transcripts)
- The Aviation Institute will review your supporting documentation, and arrange for a Placement Test to be conducted online or locally. Depending on demand from the country you are applying from, you may need to travel regionally to attend a Placement Test.

On successful completion of the Air New Zealand Aviation Institutes Placement Test you will be provided a placement letter. If you choose to accept this, a training agreement and invoice for the course fees will be forwarded to you.
- On receipt of your training agreement and course fees, the Aviation Institute will forward to you and your nearest New Zealand Immigration office a Visa Invitation letter. You should include a copy of this letter with your visa application.
- Obtain Medical and Travel Insurance covering the period of your travel to/from and stay in New Zealand.
