If you have dreamed about joining the airlines and becoming a Flight Attendant, Customer Service Assistant (Airport Check-in), Call Centre Consultant or Travel Agent then this is the course for you, delivered by an airline for the airlines.
Choosing to study with the Air New Zealand Aviation Institute provides many benefits over similar programmes offered elsewhere. Your training will occur in the same modern airline equipped training facilities Air New Zealand staff and those of Customer airlines train in. Your facilitators will more than likely have come from an operational role in an airline, bringing with them a wealth of knowledge and job real experiences. During your training you will have the opportunity to meet many airline employees training at the Aviation Institute, providing excellent opportunities to network, and learn more about your preferred role.
Aviation frontline customer service roles are highly sought after. Walk in interviews (a typical recruitment method) are used to identify prospective future employees from large groups of applicants. Graduates of the Certificate in Airline Customer Service are able to demonstrate to employers their commitment to a role in the industry through an investment in themselves and a willingness to learn more about the industry prior to making a job application.
The majority of New Zealand Aviation companies employing staff in frontline roles were invited to participate in the development of the Certificate in Airline Customer Service, and remain key supporters of this programme. This industry support ensures the Certificate in Airline Customer Service is industry relevant and employment outcomes are strong.
